- RBRita BasnettJun 14, 20255.0I want to give a big thanks to Tina at the Johnson City Builders First Choice. She went above and beyond to help us yesterday. During a recent redecorating of my husband's den/office, a very heavy and sharp edged object fell against the baseboard causing damage that could not just be fixed with wood putty, sanding and painting. We needed to replace just that small section of baseboard. We knew our builder sourced his materials from Builders First Choice we we took a photo of the style of the trim and a measurement and headed to that store. Tina greeted us asking how she could help us. We explained our issue with her. She looked up the materials list to find a match. Found one and said they only come in 16ft lengths. I wanted the baseboard repaired and was more than willing to buy one 16 ft board. But Tina says "wait a minute and let me see if we have any scrap pieces". She led us out into a warehouse, found the board that was still 16 ft but damaged in one spot. She called the manager and told him what we needed and he told her to just give it to us. She had an employee but it down to 6ft which would fit into our SUV. In parting She told us to give her a call if we needed any help installing because she had just remodeled her home and knew exactly what to do. We told her we had done a lot of this kind of work on our homes over the years but sure appreciated the offer. Can't say enough good things about the company and especially Tina.

We also spent some time looking around the store and met several employees. Every single employee greeted us with a smile and offered to help. It’s just the type of service you’d expect in the southern states. We highly recommend!
